TTouch promotes well-being through reduction of stress, and influences positive behavioral changes.
The Bodywork component of TTouch involves a unique type of circular touch and slides of varying light pressure, that affects the fascia thereby influencing the nervous system and activating neural pathways. TTouch makes a connection to the limbic system and to the emotions. It can be said that TTouch reminds the body of its perfect function prior to dysfunctional tension patterns and postural habits that result from injury, poor handling, and simply life.

Through Groundwork in the “Playground for Higher Learning”, the animal is encouraged to move mindfully in non-habitual ways, which improves balance, self-confidence, and focus. It helps the human and dog build more mindful, intentional communication.

In this work, some of the equipment used with companion animals include Body wraps that serve to gently bring back spatial awareness to the body by influencing the nervous system, and the TTouch Harmony Harness & Leash system along with the TTouch Connector which encourages stress-free walking without the dog pulling on the leash or exerting excessive strain on the back and shoulders.
